Nanko is one of the 30 individuals aboard the bus to Nanakimura. She is a 17-year-old detective whose perceptions and reactions are a little different from those around her, but she conceals a lot of talent.

Plot[]
In Episode 8 , noting how Masaki was able to previously leave Nanaki Village and how Masaki is unable to see the "monsters", Nanko deduces that if the characters were able to get over the fears of their past, they could only then escape Nanaki Village. Later on in the episode, she, along with Lion , are seen walking around because they couldn't sleep. They run into Maimai at a stream trying to skip rocks five times in order to get a wish. Since Maimai wouldn't tell them what her wish wash, Nanko decides to "deduce" for herself what it is.
Trivia[]
- Nanko has a habit of grabbing her stomach repeatedly with her right hand while she is deducing something.
- Several characters have noted that she appears strong. She herself seems to prove so in carrying the other girls' things.
